7 beauty shortcuts that could save your time!
by Agencies
Do you hate spending hours primping yourself? Here are a number of shortcuts to help you look presentable at all times.
Use your fingers
You don't need to have an extra large make-up kit with several brushes and tools. Using your fingers is the best way to blend your make-up in, smooth on your moisturiser or apply any beauty product on your face or body.
Turn to wipes
No matter what your skin type or concern, there's a wipe that will do it for you. You can apply your sunscreen, remove make-up, and even get rid of excess oiliness with a quick swipe. Further, turn to scented foot wipes for those sweaty summer feet.
A good body oil
Your skin needs more moisture than you realise. Buy a good quality oil — olive or almond or coconut — depending on what suits you, and use it for dry, frizzy hair, cracked heels, scaly skin and brittle nails. Oils even work as a quick way to add some shine to long legs.
Invest in a BB cream
If you don't want to hassle with primers and foundation, a BB cream is your best bet. It combines an anti-ageing moisturiser, SPF and a tint to even out skintone. Apply it in the morning and you're good to go till evening. (Read: Make-up tips to look picture-perfect)
Go for press-on nails
Don't have time to apply polish and wait for it to dry? Then go for press-on nails or even nail stickers. Choose one that gives a flawless shellac effect. Nail stickers too are ideal for the lazy girl who wants to flaunt animal prints or stripes without putting in the effort of spending hours on it.
Use a scented deodorant
No matter how lazy, body odour is a complete no-no. Instead of using a separate perfume and deo, you can now find your favourite high-end fragrance offered in deodorants. They may be a little pricey but they will keep you smelling good through the day.
Use multi-purpose products
Instead of having several items in your kit, choose those that have dual purposes. Buy a cheek and lip tint that performs both actions, buy an eye pencil that doubles up for lips, use a clear lip balm as a face highlighter on your cheekbones or go for a dual bronzer that adds colour to your cheeks.
